AITA for choosing my boyfriend over my bestfriend?

I ( 19F) have been together with my boyfriend (21M) for 3 years now. Back in 2023 when the two of us got together, we at first wanted to keep it private, so I only told my bestfriend (20F) at that time. Let’s call her Emily.

Emily used to have a boyfriend at that time but they were on off so it wasn’t “a healthy relationship” if I can put it like that. After 4 months of my boyfriend and i being together, emily and her boyfriend broke up. She was devestated. So what my boyfriend and I did we took here everywhere with us! Whenever we went out she came along and all.

After a while I did start to notice weird behaviour from her side. Like she would constantly try and be touchy with my boyfriend and let out some weird comments and ask personal questions. Like for exmaple we had just come from summer vacation, and the first thing she asked me was “did you guys fuck? what did you do under the bed sheets?” I cought her wrapping her arm around my boyfriends arm and laughing at a joke she said or following him around to the point where people would ask if I was still together with him because they constantly saw a girl following him around.

I didn’t say much really because everybody said I was overreacting. So I just sucked it up. Then after a while she started going out with other girls from our dancing group and they would constantly talk shit about me to her and she would let that happen. One time i overheard them making plans to go out after practice so I asked Emily if I could also come along.

She was like yeah sure just text in the group chat. And so I did. i texted them in the groupchat something along the lines “hey when are we going out today?” nobody anwsered. So I texted Emily and she said she was getting ready to go out with them. When I asked her if she could ask if I could come along she made up some excuse saying yeah I don’t know, I don’t feel comfortable asking them yk, you weren’t invited and so on.

So I went to ignore her and break contact. She started spamming me with messages. Asking for forgivness and crying to her mom all kinds of things.

I really don’t like her, but my mom constantly tells me that I overreacted. And that I choose my boyfriend over my bestfriend.
