AITA for arguing with my dad?

Me and my dad had to go check out something and since I’m unfamiliar with that area of town I ask him if he knows somewhere where i can park, he says he does and helps me navigate.He leads me to parking, the guy at the gates opens them and when I say there are cars everywhere I truly do mean everywhere.

I don’t think much of it since people here will park on the sidewalk and I park next to a car that was already parked on the sidewalk as I genuinely had nowhere else to park.

Me and my dad get done with our buissnes and when I get back to the car there’s a guy yelling that I shouldn’t have parked there,that they were about to call the police , how someone couldn’t move because of my car and how it’s for employees only(i wasnt looking for sings, there werent any).I’m pissed because I didn’t know and wasn’t told it was employees only so I say that I don’t see the problem since there’s already a car parked on the sidewalk anyway and leave.

During the ride home I argued with my dad about it and how he could’ve gotten me in trouble because he wanted to park somewhere close so he wouldn’t have to walk.

I’m frustrated because I was very much in the wrong for the parking and also because i was let into parking that wasnt meant for me in the first place and I feel sorry for replying like asshole to a guy who was just doing his job
